The Food Society venue in Darlinghurst is also the ideal location for creative and intimate private events offering old world charm, rustic homely fixtures and exceptional service.

Food Society’s theme is modern Eastern European - a twist on all things ‘Eastern Bloc’ from Poland to the Adriatic and beyond, and an impressive collection of unique and imported beers and spirits (over 70 vodkas available at any time!) - there is no limit to dining options available.

The team can offer everything from their famed sharing-style menus to contemporary plated meals, degustation dining or creative cocktail events with custom food stations. A central ‘farmhouse’ table can be converted to a decadent central food display - most commonly adorned with whole gourmet cheese wheels, cured meats and house pickled vegetables...

Brendan Lloyd and Sonia Stanojevic combined their many years experience in special event catering and event management to establish Food Society in early 2011.
